Chateau Ripeau Grand Cru Classe has been classified since 1955 and is under new ownership since 2015. In 2015 the Gregoire family bought Chateau Ripeau.

Here we have the 2015 vintage.

This is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 16 months in new oak barrels.

This is an impressive powerful youthful delicious wine. I find it to be enjoyable today and with a long enjoyable future ahead of it.
