2010 Pascal Jolivet

Today we are pairing this wine with O My Setra Caviar (Russian Osetra Sturgeon) from Lady Elena Caviar.

This wine is from Sancerre and is 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

The wine has a pale golden color. There are aromas of smokey flint and flowery creamy grapefruit which also shows through on the palate. The wine is full bodied with a slight waxy feel. The finish has some grapefruit pith and is mouthwatering refreshing.

O My Setra Caviar (Russian Osetra Sturgeon):The wine’s flintiness and grapefruit flavors are softened resulting in coating the tongue with delicious nutty creaminess.  A great caviar and wine pairing.
