The 2015 vintage for St Emilion is a good vintage.
2015 may have had one of the warmest summers but the warmer weather produced slightly riper fruits with the cooler nights giving the right balance of acidity and smooth tannins. There was floral freshness of the lush fruit with smooth tannins with the right amount of acidity in all these delicious wines.

Here we have the 2015 vintage. 
This is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 16 months in new oak barrels.
This is an impressive powerful youthful delicious wine. I find it to be enjoyable today and with a long enjoyable future ahead of it.

It is a grape varietal that requires dry and hot growing conditions and it has found its home in other places such as Southern France, Roussillon,Corsica, Sardinia, Southern Italy, Sicily, and Croatia.
With its plantings in various countries, the grape varietal has taken on other names such as Grenache in France and Garnacha in Spain.
