Champagne and Osetra Caviar Pairing with Henriot Enchanteleurs Champagne

1996 Henriot Enchanteleurs Champagne

Today we are pairing this Champagne with O My Setra caviar (Osetra) from Lady Elena Caviar.

The champagne is a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir.

The champagne has a golden color and is filled with non stop streaming tiny bubbles. There is a creamy yeasty caramel aroma with notes of sweet fruit and soft minerality. This flows through to the palate on another layer with lemon curd and some nuttiness. The finish is long with caramel and notes of some black fruit.

O My Setra Caviar (Russian Sturgeon Osetra): The champagne covers over the caviar and finishes with a caramel creaminess. A great caviar and champagne pairing.
